Friday Favorites ~ Chalkpaint Pumpkin Project

I have been on a pumpkin project frenzy these last few weeks, and I have yet to carve my lantern pumpkin!...that may be tonight's project.  Little dude and I decided to do a chalk paint pumpkin! A lot of waiting, but fun and worth it in the end!

You are going to need:
Chalkboard paint
Paintbrush
Pumpkin
..and maybe a cutie to do the project with :)
We waited a full hour in between coats.  We ended up using 3 coats, it was fine at 2 but the little dude insisted on another...well..ok then

 
He totally zonked out waiting for the 3rd coat to dry! hehe

 Here was my finished pumpkin! Boooooooooo! complete with fangs :)  Next to it is the Lantern pumpkin I have yet to carve.

 I looked over at the little man and he was scraping on the pumpkin like a maniac hahaha...this was his finished product that he was very proud of...love it!
