Florida Georgia Line goes Platinum! ~ Cruise

Hi friends!
Not sure if you have heard of Florida Georgia Line or not, but they are #1 in the country right now for their song "Cruise".  This a picture of the handsome duo at the American Music Awards.

 

I'm not really a country chick, well except for John Denver, but I always dive in 100% when it comes to supporting a homey. My pal Sam Brooker started a publishing company called Artist Revolution awhile back. So Chase Rice, a man on his writing team came up with this fun, youthful tune and it was snagged up for Florida Georgia Line to play.


When my friend Sam was starting his company I wanted to help him out, but being a mother of three, could only donate a small amount.  Compared to other investors it was chump change, even though it was a lot to me...it was tax time and I was feeling like a baller haha... I wanted to show my friend that I believed in his talents and decisions.  Anyhow, platinum!

 What! I am so happy for them!  I was invited to attend an investor party to celebrate!...so cool....so fancy...so excited to be part of a dream come true.  Here is a picture of my little date Jamie and I holding the Gold Album, the didn't have the Platinum yet it happened so quickly!

Let's get to the food of the evening...OMG! Three Three Five has done it again...shocked my taste buds and left me wanting more..magic

Speaking of toothpicks..I love them...and the holders they come in haha...I have this one, bought it at my daughters college book store of all places.
